Design is everything

From my limited experience in this life, I’ve noticed that people usually respect beauty – sometimes even over functionality.

Here are a few benefits of good design (off the top of my head)

  • Respect from current and prospective clients
  • Brand recognition
  • Higher morale
  • Professional image
  • Stand out from your competition

I could go on, but you get the picture.

Yes.  I know that there are exceptions (Craigslist, Ebay, etc.) where bad design has been successful.  But these are, as I mentioned, just exceptions and not the rule.
